Work and Maintenance Carried Out
This 996 GT3 has recently benefited from a comprehensive set of works aimed at enhancing both its aesthetics and reliability.
All four wheels have been fully restored, while the front bumper and side skirts have been replaced and then repainted along with the front fenders, front hood, and rear bumper to eliminate stone chips and imperfections, giving the car a homogeneous and very neat appearance.
The interior has received similar attention, with the repigmentation of the steering wheel and seats, as well as a thorough cleaning of the leather, for an interior presentation perfectly in line with the model's standing.
Mechanically, numerous interventions have been carried out in our workshop to ensure trouble-free use. The braking system has been completely refurbished thanks to the recent replacement of discs and pads. The water pump, thermostat, battery, and starter have been changed, while the engine and gearbox have been drained. The coolant has been renewed and the braking system bled, guaranteeing optimal and durable operation. In addition, two major operations have already been carried out: the clutch was replaced at 94,000 km, and the gearbox was fully serviced by a Porsche specialist, with invoices to prove it.
Regarding its history, the car sustained a slight impact to the left rear in 2011, which was perfectly repaired, with repair documents available. This intervention was an opportunity to install a sports exhaust, providing a more present and enhancing sound, without distorting the authentic character of the Mezger engine.
A Model for Demanding Enthusiasts
With its sharp chassis, surgically precise steering, and unique engine character, this 996 GT3 offers a rare driving experience: pure, engaging, and authentic. Its understated color, consistent mileage, and clear history make it a particularly sound and desirable example, ready to join a collection or accompany an enthusiast on the road as well as during track days.
The 996 GT3 is now establishing itself as a heritage asset with constant appreciation, while remaining one of the purest and most exciting Porsche GTs to drive. This car combines reliability, mechanical engagement, and driving intensity – a combination now highly sought after in the world of sports cars.
